In my opinion, I think heroes are people who sacrifice something they care about a lot to save the majority of the people. A hero don’t have to be perfect, but in most of the movies they are muscular, brave, and have super powers. Super man is a good example, along with Yoda, obi-wan, the character in kick –ass, and a lot of other marvel characters. They all have other thing in common: they always fight the “bad guys” and almost always faced a lot of danger and in a brick of sacrificing their lives. Obi-wan Kenobi got killed trying to stop Darth Vader from destroying a planet. Superman saved countless of lives form the villains, and the hero in kick ass is just a random punk, but is really brave and tries to save other people from harm, even though he is powerless.
I think my old friend is a hero, because he helps on the less popular people from my class, even though he has nothing to gain from it besides friendship and he has no problems with the bully. I do not think I can be a hero, because I will not throw away my life to protect a random dude on the street, I have no more powers than they do, so if I can protect, I trust that they can protect themselves too.
