There are a lot of historical events that causes a people to leave everything behind and thing they love. In fact, things are happening right now! Soldiers are sent to war, leaving their home and family and probably will never return during WWII, people are fleeing a faire, watching as their house are burned up in flames, floods and other natural disaster causes a lot of loss, and always results in some unfortunates losing everything they own beside their life. Refugees fled their country from riots and government. There are countless other examples. Such examples also happened in the bible too! People are forced to abandon their homes to go on the ship to reach safety.
I think Harriet Tubman’s experience is pretty much the same as others: fearing that bad things would happen, nervous and trying to get away from a place: she. However, is lacking the grief of leaving her loved ones and her house, because she came to retrieve the slaves, not to run away as one.
I never really moved so I don’t know what it is like, since I never moved and or live in a place for a long time before. I do not know, and I would to stay that way
