No I don’t really think journal helps us
that much since all I do is type and I don’t really improve my grammar or
anything, and I still use the original set of vocabulary I have. It makes me
feel very proud of myself looking back at the past 83 blog posts because eighty
three times two hundred is like 16600 words! I have typed that much, thinking
about it makes me really happy, and also it brings back memories of the things I
typed. The condition , the mood, the thigns I think about when I typed the blog
posts all comes back to me when I read them again. Thinking that this is the
last post makes me kind of sad, since it is a end of a routine I have for a
whole year, yet I am somehow very happy since I do not have to type two hundred
words three times for a week and it is very time comsuming, especially the ones
that requires thought. I also am really happy since I think I turned all my
journal in on time and although some of tehm did not contain a lot of thought
or new ideas, I tried my best to put content in my journal

Journal 80: My Treasure
A lot of people hold and judges a lot of
thing to ahev alto of value, for example, a car, or a paper currencies it is
something valuable that we all agree on, so they can be traded around as a
certain universal value so that a certain amount of money can buy a certain
item, not the same, depends on the seller and the region.althou money has its
universal values, its value within a person’s heart is not always the same. A spoiled
kid might not view money as that valuable, and spent it like tissue paper. A kid
in Africa, however, might really care for money and will not throw it away easily or waste it on somethign too extravagant. i view money as an valuable item, but i am never really emotionally attached to it. what i really care about is my family, my pet dog and my other pets. something that i also value very much is my old broken cell phone, i still keep even though it is as useful as a brick now, because it is the first phone i have ever chosen ad kept. it is a sony ericsson j105i. also i cant manage to separatene easily of what items my family gives me

Journal 79: My Background
I was born in hsinchu 14 years before, i am
the only child in the family and lives with my prents and grand parents and is
currently still in hsinchu I went to kindergarden and it was quite fun , since I
was the only child in the house and do not have much to do since no one can
play with me in the house, and that I cnat have frineds over every day. Ever since
I discovered video games it has been better then, of chatting software since
now I can chat with classmates from very far away.me and my family are Taiwanese
Buddhist (Buddhism mixed with Chinese religion) and we normally go to the
temple once a month. My father works at a company making high tech stuff and is
mid to high ranking ( I think) my mother just sits at the couch all day and
scolds at me. I don’t really know much about my family history except they came
from china a long time ago, even befor the roc-proc war. My grandfather tries
out various jobs and I think once he even buy land , sort it out, and sell it
to construction companies.
So yeah , I think being the only child made
me very emotional and value friendship deeptly, and too easy to trust other people

Journal 78: Style
Toni cade Bambara’s style is more like a young
teenager who speaks roughly and lacks vocabulary, and use very rough slang that
I have never heard of, she also skips a lot of useless words and just skip to the
main point, not like old people trying to tell stories about their young lives
or anything like that. She is always frequently using slang words. She describes
things briefly and very fastly, without going into too much details. The old
guy from the “the treasure of lemon brown “ however, talk like any other old
people, with a certain dignity and a little bit of insult an each sentence, he
refers to the kid as “you youngster” or something similar to that, and have
certain African americian accent that was spelled out in the book. He is also
homeless and very dirty, but he does not really care at all except his treasure,
which is newspaper article from which his son ahd kept and has eben treated as
his most important possession ever since. He didn’t really care for anything much
but is very stubborn, very much like squeaky. Both of them fought back no
matter the ods, and care about something very much, the old man his treasure
and squeaky his brother and his medals

Journal 77: Slang
I cannot thing of any slang at the moment,
so I will just type some I have researched in the past few Minutes. First of
all, the ganster or like bad guy term of a rod means a gun. And some
stepfathers or bully will say they will be spending “quality time” with some
punk or poor guy. It probably means beating that kid up. Sometimes a very
naughty kid will say “teaching a kid” it probably means beating up to. I think
every kid in the whole world knows this, sometimes we say we are “studying”, “doing
homework”, or “working on projects” we will still do it, but multitask between
skype and video games. I think us 8th graders makes up slang all the
time. when I was in 6th grade, we share answers for our homework,
and tell our teacher that we are ”referencing” instead of copying. The teacher clearly knows, but is too lazy to
care or just don’t want to annoy us , he is probably the same kind of student
before. I cannot think of any more slangs, so I just found a random one form the
internet”all in a bag” means that everything is fine and working as intended

Journal 76: Analogy
Getting A in french is like sucessfully
creating a nuclear missle in my basement. Because both is as hard, and even
though I have put the same amount of effort into French class than any other
class, I received a C. French, I think, is the one class that contains a lot of
homework, and focuses more on tests, which I do poorly due to all the grammer
rules I have to memorize and all the vocabs jammed into my brains in such a
short period of time. Making a nuclear missile is a very hard, dangerous, and time
consuming process, if the attempt somehow have a minor error, it can cause disastrous
results. A whole city can be blown apart. The same thing goes for French as
well, it is a very hard subject to learn and one minor mistake in grammar tenseness
while taking a French test will have bad results as well. the teacher have very
few assignments that she count as our score, and if any one got messed up, the
average score will drop a lot, and when French is c and the rest is either a of
b, it looks very ugly on a report card

Journal 75: Fighting Words
Words have been know to be the main cause
of many conflict, and many war ahs been caused by a single sentence or
statement. So yes, I daresay a lot of people fight over words, as if I will use
violence if someone use words to hurt me, I certainly will, depending on the
level of insults intended. There are a new branch of internet users called ”trolls”
they use the anonymity of the internet to poste hateful comments and trying to
hurt people on purpose, as for those type of people, I just ignore them,
because argueing with a troll will be a waste of time, they will continue to
troll as it was their intended purpose. You cannot hurt them howsoever, so don’t
bother. If someone insults someone I care about I will most certainly fight
back, unless its under extreme circumstances. I might not mind as much if they
insult only me, but insulting someone I cared about is just being stupid,
because theya re not involved and there is nothing to do with them. Actually,
after a second of thought, most physical violence are caused by insulting from
words then it gets rougher, especially after a communication misunderstanding.

Journal 74: Below the Surface
I have soemtimes judged people byt eh way
they look, it is part of first impressions, u first see the person, tehn if u
go into chat with them, u judge them by their pattern of speech, then when we
get to know them better, we get to judge them by the action they committed. If they
start to swear, treating others very badly, and try to pick on other people, u know
its time to get farther away form them. I once judge two people badly by their
looks. First one , the same as the previous blog post, is hank, he looks very
tough and looks like a bully when I first met him, he can still punch hard when
angered, but is generally a nice guy. He doesn’t go around bullying people, but
is generally a pain in the ass in basketball. The other guy I misjudged is very
big as well, a ginormous guy to be honest. I thought he was a bully as well,
but he is actually a very nice guy, not too smart, but nice nonetheless. If angered,
he doesn’t really use physical force, just decides to ignor the insulter. When eh
gets really pissed, he either tells the teacher or attempts to hit his classmates
with a waterbottle

Journal 73: OOPS!
My first impressions are generally not very
right, I sually meet a lot of people and generally view them as a good guy or a
bad one. One such example of a first-impression failure was at the seventh
grade newcomers meeting at pas, where we get to meet the teachers and other new
students before we start school. The first peoson I meet was Vincent, and I have
a impression that he was a ok guy, have a sense if humor, and is generally
nice. I was not very wrong. However, the second guy I meet is hank, at that time
he looks very serious, and have the I do not care and I want to punch you face.
He looks very tough and serious, and pretty expressionless. I have a bad
feeling about him back then, I thought he was a bully, turns out he was pretty
nice, laughts at everything anybody says, and does not get angry often. In other
situations, my first impression generally prove correct. Once I have a very
good friend who I always thought as very moral and will defend the less popular
kids, one day he surprised me by picking on a retard kid in our class( he is
really a retard).

Journal 72: My Tell-Tale Ending
“ ahhhh what daXXX” screamed the fist
police as he saw the corpse hidden pelow the floor, how dare they mock me like
this? They already knew what is happening and now are mocking me by acting
astonished.
How dare they? I will a madmen have figured
out this scheme? “get that guy to the police car NOW!” ordered the police officer.
Laughing, I was dragged away into the police car. I have gotten rid of the eye!
I am now free! the beating sound of the heart began to fade away as we get further
away from the house. the policemen sitting from the front seat looked awkwardly
back at me as if I am a madmen. A MADMEN!! How absurd ! how does that thought
even occur to him? “my senses are sharpened!” I shouted at the officer, “sharpened,
I say!”. The policeman’s eyes widened and turned around abruptly. I got thrown
off into a jail after 20 minuits of awkward silence. The new cell was nice, I
got a bunkmate named Brandon, he was a generally nice guy, he got thrown into
jail because he tried to stab a guy in the street, but his eyes! They are soo
cold, just like the old man’s………

Journal 71: Hints and Foreshadowing
The story is basicly narrated by a madman,
and we can tell that he is insane by his very emotional speech and text
patterns is very unexpected and looks very loud, with a lot of exclamation
markrs. The start of the passage also says he is very very careful and not insane,
of all the precaution he has putting in the work, this is a foreshadow that he
is about to do something and does not want others to find out, probably
something very private and a surprise, or something that is illegal. If you
read further on, it will say that the old man’s eyes troubled him and that he
will have to kill him to get rid of the eye, by that point you should have
figured out that the guy is mad, because who will ever kill someone just because
of their eye? Unless they eye ahs super powers and is very powerful or
extremely valuble, which it is not. The passage, futhur on, states that he is
so careful it takes him one hour to get his head behind the door, and also that
in the end, he claims the heart of the dead man is still beating, which is very
weird, I think the police cops interviewing must be creeped out by the guy’s
weirdness.
