No I don’t really think journal helps us
that much since all I do is type and I don’t really improve my grammar or
anything, and I still use the original set of vocabulary I have. It makes me
feel very proud of myself looking back at the past 83 blog posts because eighty
three times two hundred is like 16600 words! I have typed that much, thinking
about it makes me really happy, and also it brings back memories of the things I
typed. The condition , the mood, the thigns I think about when I typed the blog
posts all comes back to me when I read them again. Thinking that this is the
last post makes me kind of sad, since it is a end of a routine I have for a
whole year, yet I am somehow very happy since I do not have to type two hundred
words three times for a week and it is very time comsuming, especially the ones
that requires thought. I also am really happy since I think I turned all my
journal in on time and although some of tehm did not contain a lot of thought
or new ideas, I tried my best to put content in my journal

Journal 80: My Treasure
A lot of people hold and judges a lot of
thing to ahev alto of value, for example, a car, or a paper currencies it is
something valuable that we all agree on, so they can be traded around as a
certain universal value so that a certain amount of money can buy a certain
item, not the same, depends on the seller and the region.althou money has its
universal values, its value within a person’s heart is not always the same. A spoiled
kid might not view money as that valuable, and spent it like tissue paper. A kid
in Africa, however, might really care for money and will not throw it away easily or waste it on somethign too extravagant. i view money as an valuable item, but i am never really emotionally attached to it. what i really care about is my family, my pet dog and my other pets. something that i also value very much is my old broken cell phone, i still keep even though it is as useful as a brick now, because it is the first phone i have ever chosen ad kept. it is a sony ericsson j105i. also i cant manage to separatene easily of what items my family gives me

Journal 79: My Background
I was born in hsinchu 14 years before, i am
the only child in the family and lives with my prents and grand parents and is
currently still in hsinchu I went to kindergarden and it was quite fun , since I
was the only child in the house and do not have much to do since no one can
play with me in the house, and that I cnat have frineds over every day. Ever since
I discovered video games it has been better then, of chatting software since
now I can chat with classmates from very far away.me and my family are Taiwanese
Buddhist (Buddhism mixed with Chinese religion) and we normally go to the
temple once a month. My father works at a company making high tech stuff and is
mid to high ranking ( I think) my mother just sits at the couch all day and
scolds at me. I don’t really know much about my family history except they came
from china a long time ago, even befor the roc-proc war. My grandfather tries
out various jobs and I think once he even buy land , sort it out, and sell it
to construction companies.
So yeah , I think being the only child made
me very emotional and value friendship deeptly, and too easy to trust other people

Journal 78: Style
Toni cade Bambara’s style is more like a young
teenager who speaks roughly and lacks vocabulary, and use very rough slang that
I have never heard of, she also skips a lot of useless words and just skip to the
main point, not like old people trying to tell stories about their young lives
or anything like that. She is always frequently using slang words. She describes
things briefly and very fastly, without going into too much details. The old
guy from the “the treasure of lemon brown “ however, talk like any other old
people, with a certain dignity and a little bit of insult an each sentence, he
refers to the kid as “you youngster” or something similar to that, and have
certain African americian accent that was spelled out in the book. He is also
homeless and very dirty, but he does not really care at all except his treasure,
which is newspaper article from which his son ahd kept and has eben treated as
his most important possession ever since. He didn’t really care for anything much
but is very stubborn, very much like squeaky. Both of them fought back no
matter the ods, and care about something very much, the old man his treasure
and squeaky his brother and his medals

Journal 77: Slang
I cannot thing of any slang at the moment,
so I will just type some I have researched in the past few Minutes. First of
all, the ganster or like bad guy term of a rod means a gun. And some
stepfathers or bully will say they will be spending “quality time” with some
punk or poor guy. It probably means beating that kid up. Sometimes a very
naughty kid will say “teaching a kid” it probably means beating up to. I think
every kid in the whole world knows this, sometimes we say we are “studying”, “doing
homework”, or “working on projects” we will still do it, but multitask between
skype and video games. I think us 8th graders makes up slang all the
time. when I was in 6th grade, we share answers for our homework,
and tell our teacher that we are ”referencing” instead of copying. The teacher clearly knows, but is too lazy to
care or just don’t want to annoy us , he is probably the same kind of student
before. I cannot think of any more slangs, so I just found a random one form the
internet”all in a bag” means that everything is fine and working as intended

Journal 76: Analogy
Getting A in french is like sucessfully
creating a nuclear missle in my basement. Because both is as hard, and even
though I have put the same amount of effort into French class than any other
class, I received a C. French, I think, is the one class that contains a lot of
homework, and focuses more on tests, which I do poorly due to all the grammer
rules I have to memorize and all the vocabs jammed into my brains in such a
short period of time. Making a nuclear missile is a very hard, dangerous, and time
consuming process, if the attempt somehow have a minor error, it can cause disastrous
results. A whole city can be blown apart. The same thing goes for French as
well, it is a very hard subject to learn and one minor mistake in grammar tenseness
while taking a French test will have bad results as well. the teacher have very
few assignments that she count as our score, and if any one got messed up, the
average score will drop a lot, and when French is c and the rest is either a of
b, it looks very ugly on a report card

Journal 75: Fighting Words
Words have been know to be the main cause
of many conflict, and many war ahs been caused by a single sentence or
statement. So yes, I daresay a lot of people fight over words, as if I will use
violence if someone use words to hurt me, I certainly will, depending on the
level of insults intended. There are a new branch of internet users called ”trolls”
they use the anonymity of the internet to poste hateful comments and trying to
hurt people on purpose, as for those type of people, I just ignore them,
because argueing with a troll will be a waste of time, they will continue to
troll as it was their intended purpose. You cannot hurt them howsoever, so don’t
bother. If someone insults someone I care about I will most certainly fight
back, unless its under extreme circumstances. I might not mind as much if they
insult only me, but insulting someone I cared about is just being stupid,
because theya re not involved and there is nothing to do with them. Actually,
after a second of thought, most physical violence are caused by insulting from
words then it gets rougher, especially after a communication misunderstanding.

Journal 74: Below the Surface
I have soemtimes judged people byt eh way
they look, it is part of first impressions, u first see the person, tehn if u
go into chat with them, u judge them by their pattern of speech, then when we
get to know them better, we get to judge them by the action they committed. If they
start to swear, treating others very badly, and try to pick on other people, u know
its time to get farther away form them. I once judge two people badly by their
looks. First one , the same as the previous blog post, is hank, he looks very
tough and looks like a bully when I first met him, he can still punch hard when
angered, but is generally a nice guy. He doesn’t go around bullying people, but
is generally a pain in the ass in basketball. The other guy I misjudged is very
big as well, a ginormous guy to be honest. I thought he was a bully as well,
but he is actually a very nice guy, not too smart, but nice nonetheless. If angered,
he doesn’t really use physical force, just decides to ignor the insulter. When eh
gets really pissed, he either tells the teacher or attempts to hit his classmates
with a waterbottle

Journal 73: OOPS!
My first impressions are generally not very
right, I sually meet a lot of people and generally view them as a good guy or a
bad one. One such example of a first-impression failure was at the seventh
grade newcomers meeting at pas, where we get to meet the teachers and other new
students before we start school. The first peoson I meet was Vincent, and I have
a impression that he was a ok guy, have a sense if humor, and is generally
nice. I was not very wrong. However, the second guy I meet is hank, at that time
he looks very serious, and have the I do not care and I want to punch you face.
He looks very tough and serious, and pretty expressionless. I have a bad
feeling about him back then, I thought he was a bully, turns out he was pretty
nice, laughts at everything anybody says, and does not get angry often. In other
situations, my first impression generally prove correct. Once I have a very
good friend who I always thought as very moral and will defend the less popular
kids, one day he surprised me by picking on a retard kid in our class( he is
really a retard).

Journal 72: My Tell-Tale Ending
“ ahhhh what daXXX” screamed the fist
police as he saw the corpse hidden pelow the floor, how dare they mock me like
this? They already knew what is happening and now are mocking me by acting
astonished.
How dare they? I will a madmen have figured
out this scheme? “get that guy to the police car NOW!” ordered the police officer.
Laughing, I was dragged away into the police car. I have gotten rid of the eye!
I am now free! the beating sound of the heart began to fade away as we get further
away from the house. the policemen sitting from the front seat looked awkwardly
back at me as if I am a madmen. A MADMEN!! How absurd ! how does that thought
even occur to him? “my senses are sharpened!” I shouted at the officer, “sharpened,
I say!”. The policeman’s eyes widened and turned around abruptly. I got thrown
off into a jail after 20 minuits of awkward silence. The new cell was nice, I
got a bunkmate named Brandon, he was a generally nice guy, he got thrown into
jail because he tried to stab a guy in the street, but his eyes! They are soo
cold, just like the old man’s………

Journal 71: Hints and Foreshadowing
The story is basicly narrated by a madman,
and we can tell that he is insane by his very emotional speech and text
patterns is very unexpected and looks very loud, with a lot of exclamation
markrs. The start of the passage also says he is very very careful and not insane,
of all the precaution he has putting in the work, this is a foreshadow that he
is about to do something and does not want others to find out, probably
something very private and a surprise, or something that is illegal. If you
read further on, it will say that the old man’s eyes troubled him and that he
will have to kill him to get rid of the eye, by that point you should have
figured out that the guy is mad, because who will ever kill someone just because
of their eye? Unless they eye ahs super powers and is very powerful or
extremely valuble, which it is not. The passage, futhur on, states that he is
so careful it takes him one hour to get his head behind the door, and also that
in the end, he claims the heart of the dead man is still beating, which is very
weird, I think the police cops interviewing must be creeped out by the guy’s
weirdness.

Journal 70: Narrator
A lot of books
are naratted by a narrator, sometimes they can not be relied on because they
only talk about one side of the story and might sometimes be very unfair. It is
pretty much like a normal story where the bad guy is always evil and must be
eliminated, and everyone should hate him, no one, howerver, talks abotut eh bad
guys view, or his story, or how he gotten bad.
The
narrator in this story clearly cannot be trusted since he asked the audience “why
do you think of me sa mad? The disease sharpened my senses…” this is like asking
the audience “why do you not like me?” it proven that the narrator has a
disease and also is pretty much mad. We should not trust what the narrator says
since he is a madmen, nor should we believe what he says.
If
I remember correctly, these type of storiesa re first-person narrative, and are
often very unbalanced and are only look at one sid’s view of the conflict. This
story are often entertaining since we can closly relate to one character’s
feelings and better understand and establishing a closer link to a character. The
author might wat to establish a unliable character to prove his madness, thus
making the story more interesting. By using the murderer as the narrator, the
author can express the killers emotional feelings. It would be pretty lame if a
offcer just wrote, today we caught a madman who killed a old man and hid his
heard under the floor

Journal 69: Scary Stories
I usually avoid scary books and movies
since I get scared easily and usually keep on scaring myself frequenty since I was
very small. I use to imagine aliens poping out of every corner to capture me or
just to scare me to death. I think the main thing that a ghost story have to
focus on is is a sudden unexpected appearance, that works very well in visual
movies, but I cannot not prove that it does in a book. The ghostory might want
to focus ont eh scary part where the plot is scary, and not sudden unexpected
events for example” suddenlya zombie,
with skins decaying and hollow eyes, jawbones haning losly beneath the skull,
with some meat still stuck to it, jump in front of jimmy’s face and yelled “CHEWBACCA”
it will eb very scary when visualized, but a very pathetic attempt if used used
on books because readers simply will not get the sudden shock since they ahev
to imagine it first, and by the time they are done, it’s not shocking anymore. With
movies, trying to scare a viewer using storyline is not as efficient, because
it is not like scaring suddenly that make people jump off their seat kind of
scary, but gives people goosebumps fot eh whole nigh kind of scary. The readers
can better imagine the storyine and hwo the characters look like using a book,
and it does not require sudden random scary stuff kind of scary, so it is more
efficient in expressing this kind of story.

Journal 68: My Style
I do not think I
have any distinctive styles, i don’t really care about what cloths I wear as
long as its not power rangers or ben ten t-shirts or something related to that.
I don’t generally care about a lot of stuff other than star wars.
I do not enjoy
anything too special. I listen to music like everybody elese, also gets
addicted to video games, read a few books when good ones come out, like pretty
much what the majority like, like percy Jackson, harry potter and stuff, and
dislike what others hate, like Justin bieber and the twilight book series. I hate
on twilight even though I have never read them before.
I guess I am not
really a nerd, since I do a lot of sports and try to mix my activity up a bit,
but I do play the game and is addicted to a game called world of warcraft, so I
guess I can be classified as a wow nerd. I am not really coo either, don’t
really skateboard or anything since I short of felt uncomfortable. I don’t really
go out socialize and anything much. So yeah, not nerdy, not cool, just a very
average guy

Journal 67: Betrayal
In the essay/poem we discussed about in the
class, the little Japanese girl friendship got messed up by world war two, therefore
abandoning her in her most depressed time, and thus betraying them. The American
girl accuses the Japanese of starting the world war two and also of them
telling secrets to the Japanese. The girl responded by giving her seeds and
tell her shell miss her when the tree is fully grown, the girl will miss the Japanese.
I think what she means is that by the time the tree si fully grown, she would have
realized that the Japanese girl is innocent and the whole thing is a folly to
blame it on innocent citizens just because they are Asian. I think it is a very
effect response, because its all like wise words and stuff , short of like what
a kung fu master will say, perhaps yoda will say this as well, but with very
poor grammer.
I
have been betrayed before. I told a friend before a secret and went to play
basketball, by the time I got back, the whole school year know about the
secret. It was quite embarrassing and my friends called his toher friends and
mocked me and try to start a fight on yahoo messenger. I really don’t understand
what is going on until much later.

Journal 66: Real American
In the passage in response to the executive order 9066, the author was a little girl that claims to have a lot of things in common with the other Americans. She thinks she is a real American because she is adapted to tis culture and uses other eating utensils instead of chopsticks, and that she like food most other Americans like. She thinks that she is a true American because she spent a lot of time there and learned its culture. i do not think those things are convincing, because this is just stereotypical image of an average American, yet many have different preferences and culture. The Japanese girl . In my opinion, is just trying to fit in and getting use the environment? To be a true citizen of a country is to have utter loyalty with it, to support your country and to take a stand, even against stronger forces, not just to immigrant to the most powerful country in the world and act that you are born there and that it is cooler, those kind of citizen will be the first to betray their country once war started or when the country begins to decline. If I were to prove that I am a real Taiwanese, i will understand its fundamental ideas and support democracy, I will not go running around waving my passport nor will I lie that I am something else. I will be pissed when idiots thinks that Jeremy Lin is from communist china. I will be pissed when no one heard of Taiwan before T_T. I will get mad when people purchase Samsung products. I don’t think that the last requirement necessary proves me as a Taiwanese, but it shows that at least I care.

Journal 65: General Conditions
Camp in camp harmony is not bad, and is very neat and very unified. There is no technology there, but the passage did described lights and how they turned the lights out. There must be electricity there, and basic service like water and things
. From the picture, the camp seems alright. The story did not have mention any hateful comments about the camp, nor extreme distaste. The girl in the passage only mentioned very little discontent. The camp is okay I guess, because the story is written in depressing tone and not really filled with hatred. My generalization of the camp is threat it is okay, not really meant to harm people, unlike the Jews concentration camp, which kills jews in mass umbers. I think camp pas is boring as well, it does not allow technology for gaming and is generally the same as the Japanese camp, it has electricity there, but is used only as illumination and fans. Both camps are pretty similar and the only difference is camp pas is meant to entertain, while camp harmony is meant to protect the united states from japenese residents causing revolts, which is very unlikely and very stupid, because they only cage Japanese and not Germans, nor Italian
Saturday, April 14, 2012
Journal 64: Camp Harmony
Harmony means peacefullness and content within. It is often used to describe nature or soft music. It is often used in chinese culture. It is also the key idea of Buddhism, where you need to find inner peace and harmony within oneself. The camp in the book cannot be described as camp harmony, because the Japanese are there due to a war, and did not go there by their free will. Thus it is not peaceful nor hamorious. The camp itself looks quite peaceful, with little activity and everything is very orderly, it does look harmous from the outside, but the main reason of its construction and is reason is due to war and nothing related to peacefulness, it is also very racesist to lock only Japanese and not Italian, nor german.
If I will give a name for it, I will call it camp pas, because both camp forces the attenders to attend, it is both mandatory. Another reason it is very similar to camp pas is because no techonolgy is allowed, or provided, there, the description of the hous does nto invlude a television, nor does camp pas. So, the conlcution is that this camp should not eb called camp harmony, it should be called camp pas instead
.

Journal 63: Camp Pictures
I say a very peaceful and quiet camp, the sky is very blue and cloudless, and everything looks very peaceful and for some reason the whole community reminds me of somewhere in afrika where the donators help build houses etc. there is nine electricity or telephone poles in the picture, which provides the information that there is outside connection. I shorta guessed it is a concentration camp even before mister McCool announced, and I think its quite decent one, there is things to provide for electricity camp. I think I will be ok there as long as we get to live peacefullya dn have tv and internet connection, and no killing the people. This one’s way better htan the jew camp I guess. The place looks quite deserted except a single person standing in the middle of the place. It might be in the middle of the afternoon where it is the hottest and also the in the middle of the summer. The place looks very organized and all the houses looks the same, I would perefer more vegetation and a little bit of variety and maybe some stores to get junk food and drinks from. I guess it’s a concentration camp so you might not be that comfortable there. So my answer is I prefer where I live at the moment. yay

Journal 62: Spring Break
This spring break the thing I wanted to do most is to take a break from video games and to have fun outdoors. And that is exackly what I got . me and my classmates went to bali club med for a graduation trip for 5 days and ti was amazing. The resort( that’s where we stayed at 80% of the time) offers every single kind of popular sport worldwide courts and even scuba diving. The fishes are awesome and I didn’t even believe those kind of things actually existed, because I have never really seen it before and it is bizarre and wonderful at the same time. After I got back form club med, io went right back to playing video games. I wanted to do more worldly wise, and I actually did. So I did everything I planned for and it was a fun spring break in general. I did all what I wanted to do and did even more, the only thing that I missed out is going back to live in Taichung, which isn’t really big deal since I can go there any weekend if I want to.
So in general, spring break is way better than last years and also a lot of fun, especially the bali trip, how many graduation trip can u get in a life time?

Journal 61: Film v Book
I think the movie and the book are quit dirfferent, the book itself is quite interesting, but put into a movie it will be quite lame for the lack of action a alto of various reasons. I think that si the reason there is more spice in the movie. In the movie brian is struggleing with the bear and even fought it two times. They also added some excitement by making the character find and eat bugs, the idea of putting a live wiggleling bug into ur mouth creeps us so much that, the whole cas short of screamed. I also get a lot of goosbumps when seeing tat scene, and typing this also make me have goosebumps at the moment. The book also have most of the scene, but her mom and his boyfriend kissed in the forest, where in the book ti sin the mall. In the movie his mother foud out that brian was peeking, while in the book she does not find out. In the book brian does not shoo the wolf nor tell ti to go away, but he does in the movie. The movie is more about struggleing with nature and fighting it, while the book is more about being in harmony with nature.

Journal 59: Epic Language
Typing a journal,
Such an hardship and filled with pain,
The the gradual and deseprate buzzing sound of the computer,
Must finish the post before the computer’s life is drain out,
For then all is lost when the life is drianed away,
I must finish this esay no matter the cost,
With my mouse in one hand,
Another on top of the keyboard,
Dripping with sweat,
I must protect the people and the innocent,
For if I don’t finish this journal in time,
My grades will fall,
If my grades fall my parents will rage,
And if my parents rage,
The whole world will lay in shatters,
So oh god, grant me the strength,
To finish this gruesome quest, the most challenging of all,
Give me the strength to end the failures that my precedes try so despertly to avoid,
But failed,
Give me strength to end the pain that has yet to come,
I must finish this journal,
Outside rain and thunder are raging,
Reminding how little time I have left,
Soon if I fail,
It will not be water, but blood pouring from the red sky,
I have felt a trickle of doubt,
For I can’t really write in epic language,
I have trained too less,
Read too little,
Not working hard enough on wordly wise,
And I really doubt that epics are ever written in first person form,
Oh well,
I tried my best,
Used every bit of muscle left in me,
For the people,
To save others,
I will keep on typing….
Ps sorry for the rubbish, I cannot type epic poems since my vocabulary base is too small sorry, I tried my best.

Journal 58: Luck?
Luck is basically the probability of getting a benefit results, and it is really obvious such thing exists. Brian thinks that the main reason he can survive is due to luck. I do not think it is so due to the fact that his plane crashed in the first place. The events that followed are quite equal. His luck was just average, because he was not too unlucky by having an accident and dying the the woods, yet not too lucky by being spotted and rescued right away.
Like what the story said, lucky events follow unlucky events, the two are entertwined.in my opinion, I think what really saved Brian was his determination and his growing knowledge of the wilderness.
When iw as really little, I was playing with my toy car standing and leaning over the part of the couch where you lean your back on, and the couch suddenly flips over; the pointy part( the mirror part of the car) hit just below my eyes. If I was to be unlucky; I would have been blind. This is a true story by the way. So I guess I did get out of a dangerous situation just by being lucky.

Journal 57: What Makes Fire?
Fire requires three elements to generate; fuel, oxygen, and combustion. It is vital to have a fire goin in the wilderness. Fires function to scare away wild animals, cook food, keep bugs away, and also to keep the shelter warm. Brian first tried to light the fire by striking two stick together. He ahs oxygen when trying this, and also the burning fuel; the only thng that he is lacking is the heat and combustion, it takes a long time to start a fire with just two sticks. The second attempt he discovered accidentally by striking the hatchet against the stone wall of his shelter. He gets the combustion and heat when the axe struct the walla dn creates friction, which creats heat. The second attempt gets oxygen and also burning material, with a lucky stroke; the spark flew down and the faire started. All three requirements are satisfied at the second attempt.
So fire needed all thre requrements in order to start, and the first try did not achieve all three, but the second attempt did. This explaines why there are no fires under the ocean and how water and other materials can stop a fire( by blocking tis acess to oxygen and cooling it down at the same time)

Journal 56: : Lost in the Woods
I do not learned any survival tactics whatsoever, and have zero knowledge of how to get food and water in a natural habitat. If I got ditched in the wild, I guess I will just eat a poison berry accidentally and die. I kind of know how to get water in eh mountains, and know that those streams are clean enough for me to drink. The only knowledge that I get for survival is to kill animals and eat fruits. I don’t know how to start a fire (especially in a moist place like Taiwan) I don’t know how to built a shelter, not skin, catch, and cook the animal.
I guess I will have more chance of survival into eh forest than in a desert or stranded on island, since there are more water and food, also likeness to be found in the forest. I hope if I get lost in the wilderness it will be a pin forest of somewhere where it cleaner. The rainforest I would not enjoy to be in, since there are so much bug and the ground is usually soggy and wet. The chances of me surviving the desert or the ice poles is almost zero, since it’s almost a barren and I cannot stand the extreme weather

Journal 55: Personal Assets
In the story, brian got stuck ina middle of a forest due to the plane crash, as a soft city boy he, with no survival training whatsoever, he survived int eh woods for about three months until rescued. The only way he could’ve survived is his strong characteristic and his stubbornness. He was passive optimist at first, doing what is necessary for survival. In the middle of the book he turns very pessimists, after knowing that he will not be rescued, but more aggressive. He starts planning ahead and store food, make bows, shelter, and a pond to keep fishes.
I think my greatest assets are that I am ( somehow but not that much ) responsible, I usually try to turn in all my homework and seldom miss any work. I think it’ll help me in the wild, to get what has to be done done. I am alsy pretty depressed yet sometimes very merry for no apparent reason, so I guess I will functipon preety good in the wild. But I am very scared of corpses and internal organs of my prey will probably digust me, but I guess if it was the only thing to do to survive; I’ll take it.

Journal 54: Solving Problems
I have learned a lot of things that other people taught me which I used in life, in fact, i am using what my teacher taught me in kindergarden to type this journal entry right now, which is the alphabet. Since I mostly read fantasies and nonfiction book, I did not really learn anything I can use in my life except some new vocabulary words. Ii do learn a lot form the storyline however, it is always about a bad guy getting killed in the end, si I assume being bad guy will result in a terrible ending. So be nice to people and everything should be fine.
All those books did not really help me a lot , but I can remember knowing how to make paper airplanes forma airplane making guild. Also making lego models from the instruction packet, those are books right? So why not? Everyboday was born without knowledge of anything, so they require something or someone to pass knowledge down to them, our whole life is about learning. I used the math skills to find the amount of money, used English my teacher taught me to write an essay. So. In short, every problem I face was solved by using something I have learned form others

The skies are blue,
The ground is green
I have not caught the flu,
The skies are blue,
I have no clue,
Where are the beans,
The skies are blue,
The ground is green
I can fly in the sky,
Flying very happily,
I saw a fly,
In can fly in the sky,
,
I cannot die,
Cause I do not act stupidly,
I can fly in the sky.
Flying very happily,

Journal 52: You and Nature Journal 52: You and Nature Journal 52: You and Nature
Nature, I have reall mixed feelings about it, I usually doslike it very much since the first thing that comes to my mind then I think of nature is mudd and moss, of ferns and waterfalls; of sticky mudd and frog corpses. Because I use to go hiking every Wednesday and that is mostly what I see. I am quite sick of nature since it is , in my opinion very unclean. i dislike nature since I think ull get bored of it really soon, everything is green and looks alike and it gets boring very fast. But still, nature ahs its own uniqueness. Every creature is unique, unlike human products which are all the same and unified. Nature have living things and beautiful creatures as well, those are things the city cannot copy.
Another interesting thioguht is that if what other creatures creat is counted as natural, why not humans? What is the difference? So if my parents tell me tat I should interact more with nature? Why cant that mean play more computer games since those are made by living things and animals as well. so in general, I think that nature is boring and not as interesting as video games,a dn that human made stuff might also be natural

Journal 51: Limerick
There once was a guy named bob
He accidentally broke his thumb
He is very sad
So he went to his dad
But his dad gives him a whack instead.
There once was a very bad student
He likes to kill a lot of rodents
But once he got caught
He haven’t even fought
Because he is very prudent
The once was very fat dude
He likes to play with his game cube
But then Xbox came out
And he has to find out
If it was worth more than his food

Journal 50: Tanka Poem
Hello man what’s up
The weather is beautiful
Cool transparent lake
Yellow light glimmering bright
Such a glorious lake today
Rain banging windows
Cannot play any basketball
Raining from the mass grey sky
Cannot have any fun outdoor
But there are video games
The forest is very green
The forest is full of happy life
The trees are dancing
The frogs are croaking very happily
The skies are blue and merry and lively

Journal 45: List Poem
How I enjoyed my life,
For all the joys and wonder it offers,
Playing basketball with friends from elementary
school,
Playing computer games after school with classmates,
Bursting into laughter while teacher is
scolding,
Enjoying a day without homework,
Visiting my relatives and cousins, goofing
around with them,
Drinking coke and eating chips while
watching fifa,
Getting brand new technology, tweaking it for
the first time,
Getting my pet and snuggling with it, playing
with it and feeding it.
Reading books that I have waited for three years
in a comfy bed with air condition on after a hot shower,
Drinking sports drink right after two hours
of basketball, feeling are condition the first time after two hours in eh sun.
Chilling out on the back seat of a car with
bright light shining through the windows, listening to music and chatting with my
cousin, thus enjoying the ride.
This is the things I enjoy the most,
The main reason of my existence,
The best my life has to offer,
Yet as I grew older, these event entertains
me less and less,
But I guess there will be other wonderful
events and miracles popping up as I mature
These are what makes my life great, so what
are yours?

Journal 43: Elements of Poetry
In a story , it consists of a setting, a
plot ,m characters, conflics, and resolution. A poem may have all of them, and even
be a story summarized. It can be just like a windows file, with differed
formats, like prf to word document. A poem can also lack a setting, like a ode
dedicated to something, the same thing goes with character or plot, it can
describe a setting like a grassland or some random city in which it can
describe the scene and does nto require a plot nor character. A poem can take a
lot of forms, and is very broad. A essay can also have a conflict too, and with
conflict it also allows resolution. A good example of a story poem is the
highway man. It describes how a highwayman feels in love with a women, how the
soilders captured her to set the highwayman up, how the women shot herself to
warn the highwaymen, and how in the end they both die. I sincerely wish that
you have read the poem before you read this, because it is a decent poem and I think
I just spoiled it. So in conclution, a poem can take many forms and can include
every single element, or can lack some

Journal 42: Ode
Algebra hard. Brain explotion, countless hours of practice,
worksheet very difficult teacher explain I always fail to understand. Numbers are
very boring and tend to get people into sleep. The letters confuse the
confusion even further. Emotionless text lacking smell. Plain black and white. Math questions annoying
eight pages to do per test. No feeling boordom colorless whiteboard historyclass
big textbook little example struggling . constant pain hard not to get a bad
grade colorless paper no life within no chat only talk in numbers no discussion
no fun plain math exam after exam countless tests and quizzes test after test
day after day of suffering for what? We have calculator we have Wikipedia for
equations boss wont quiz equations at most jobs
boss wont quiz you for it. This math is useless and hard and mind exploding.
It drains your soul and ruins your life till you are always crying , it smashes
your confidence and ruins your reputation and deems you unworthy . it
slaughters your happiness and calls forth your hopelessness till you are a nothing bot a living husk. Till
then it still will not stop. the pain algebra inflicts is beyond the pain of
understanding, for a person can only understand when the take the cource
themselves. And when it comes. They will scream and wail and cry for
mercy. This si a life challenge that
everyone have to endure . it is not being teenager that changes us , tha everyone extrapolated
that was the cause of dark transformation, it is the taking of cource algebra. We
go in the classroom as innocent child and come out shattered men who will no
longer feel joy. these are just random words by the way the grammer is rediculous

Journal 41: Poetry
Poems are different from other forms of writing because it
is shorter and expressed in sentences . it can take very different forms and
varies a lot. This can be expressed very broadly and leave readers to analyze
what it means. Essays are straight out stating ideas and readers mostly
understand the meaning fully unless of hard vocabulary, unfamiliarity of the
language, or and gramical errors. Most poems are short and expressed very different
to talking. It can help people better memorize if the meaning is not to
abstract and also help if it rhymes. Poems can express thoughts that can better
left the readers wondering, it cannot be described vividly so that the readers can
imagine what the poem wishes to deliver.
The poems cannot achieve the easy understanding the essay offers, and somethims
lacks words to describe them. The poem tends to cramp a lot of idea into one,
making it fast reading and less time to enjoy the passage. Poems are use today
as songs and some are written really nicely. Every line rymes and offers a lot of
meaning. I find these poems very enjoyable, especially the onces that is made
into songs and those that are insulting. The best example is the” you got pwned”
rap.

Journal 37: Setting and Plot
Although the conflict and the character is
the same, the setting might have a huge toll on the outcome and the resolution.
The fight between the two friends might end really fast, since there are people
around to stop them, also one of the characters might trip due to sand and they
might take more damage due to a high chance of them wearing only swim trunks
due to the hot weather. The fight in England during winter 200 years ago would
have been much different, due to the two friends wearing a lot of cloths for
protection and it might also end up deadly, due to not a lot of people in a
farm and the crime cases are really high in the old times. The two people
fighting in England might also be britishman and also might be swearing at each
other with British accent, while the people fighting in California might be any
race actually, so we cannot really tell. The story of there will be soft rains
might change if the house is located where it is not nuked or somewhere far
from a tree branch. That way the house and maybe perhaps the family would’ve survived
and the story will have a better ending, but the story will also lose its
meaning, which is no one can beat the power of nature, if the house was to still
stand at the end of the story.
(ps ) this was a late journal , you might want to not count the grades
Journal 40: Winter Holiday
This year’s winter break was one of the more
exciting ones I have had, and to be honest it is actually quite good and nice, the
best part is I even got a brand new Sony portable game device known as the
ngp(ps vita) it was the best Christmas present I ever had. Me and my family
also went to Taichung and spent 3 to 4 days there, it was really fun since it
was close to the shopping center, and we can just walk there, the other bonus
is the Christmas spirits and the decoration in the mall, which makes us feel
happy. I would not have believed that my parents would even consider buying me
a gaming device, and this action really surprised me, I felt a bit guilty since
I didn’t achieve anything special like winning a award or something. The only
regret I have for this winter break is not studying enough and not having cram
school or thing, my classmate took three tennis lessons a week, and had
improved a lot ever since, also the sorrow of this winter break is that it was
too short and I would’ve enjoyed it if it was a bit longer, I mean after all,
who wouldn’t?
