Journal 38: Mars

What I have know about mars is that it is really the closest planet to earth(hopefully is) and that it is red, made out if minerals, roughly the same size of earth, and may once have water and might have supported life forms, and thus the water disappeared and also that there might be life forms on it now. Mars lacks water and the atmosphere consists of different gas , unlike earth, so far we have found no life forms on mars and that is a difference as well It’s surface is largely iron oxide, which gives it its reddish color, unlike earth which is made from soils There is no liquid water (there is ice at the poles). Because is it has a much thinner atmosphere, and is farther from the sun, it is much colder.
us humans have already successfully launched a space probe into mars, and I think it is still up there or that there are a few more operations when I stop putting interest into space programs, anyways with sending stuff to mars doable and successful, I imagine that it will be possible to send humans there and also it will not be in the too distant future, since we know how to do it already, I would give it to about 5 to 10 years
